Poems like glass
I see myself
More real reflected

Awarded the Whittaker Memorial Prize for creative writing in 1977 for a collection of promising juvenilia, I have had flurries of poetry on an off ever since.

Some editors have been kind enough to publish them and you can find a selection here.

I spent an enjoyable few years learning about, discussing and criticising new poetry in the now defunct poet's peer e-group 'Pennine Poetry Works' led by John Carley and Helen Clare as part of the Poetry Society's millenial 'Poetry Places'. project.

I am now occasionally found on All Poetry, a massive chat room for the aspiring and perspiring poet.

I will post some of my newer works here from time to time.
